These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern all bookings and car rental services provided by Rexford. By making a booking or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Bookings and Payments

• • All bookings require a deposit of at least 75% of agreed upon payment at the time of reservation.
  • The remaining balance must be paid in full at the time of vehicle delivery.
  • Failure to complete payment will result in cancellation of the booking.
  • Clients who insist on changing already paid-for vehicles 24hrs prior to commencement of the job may attract extra charges even if the vehicle to be changed is of a higher model.
  • For meetings/events/after parties, the client is advised to notify the customer service representative at least 1hour before the end of the trip if there is the intent of vehicle extension after “full day” has elapsed, and payment must be made before the extension starts for the number of hours communicated

2. Cancellations and Refunds

• • Clients may cancel a booking and request a refund of the deposit if cancellation is made at least 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time.

• • A cancellation fee of 20% of the sum total paid for a day’s trip on a particular vehicle will be deducted for clients who cancel a planned trip 24hrs or less before commencement of the job.
  • Clients are entitled to full refunds ONLY when requests on cancellation of paid-for vehicles are made well in advance and these said vehicles are not tied down during hot bed months i.e. mid-December, Easter period etc.
  • Maximum waiting period for all refunds due is to be paid to the client in 3 working days.

  N.B: It is advisable that for same day bookings, ample time should be given for vehicle delivery and discussed clearly between the client and the Customer Service Representative (at least 2hours is advised); agreement on the traffic conditions and effective communication will be ensured from our end.

3. Vehicle Use

• • The rented vehicle must be used responsibly and in accordance with Nigerian traffic laws.
  • Clients are prohibited from using the vehicle for illegal activities, subletting, or commercial transport without prior written consent from Rexford.
  • The client is responsible for any traffic violations, fines, or penalties incurred during the rental period.

4. Insurance and Liability

• • Vehicles are provided with standard insurance coverage where applicable.
  • Rexford is not liable for loss of personal property left in the vehicle.

• • Clients are entirely liable for vehicle damages incurred during a trip other than those that may have been caused by the chauffeur of the vehicle. The chauffeur reserves the right not to proceed with a job, if he can prove the planned route isn’t safe or will pose a risk to life or damage to the vehicle.

5. Termination of Agreement

• • Cancellation based on traffic constraints, client’s “no show”, wrong pickup address, vehicle damage due to bad road network etc. will not be any fault of Rexford Car Rentals.
  • Rexford reserves the right to cancel or refuse service if a customer provides false information, fails to meet eligibility requirements, or breaches these Terms.

6. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.

7. Amendments

Rexford may amend these Terms from time to time. Any updates will be posted on our website with the revised “Last Updated” date.

8. Agreement

By making a booking or renting a vehicle with Rexford, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
